Kanika Mann is all set to play Bondita in Barrister Babu After Leap

Exclusive: ColorsTv popular daily serial soap Barrister Babu is going to see some changes in the story and cast. 

The current track of Barrister Babu is showing that how Anirudh is trying to make Bondita live her dream.

Anirudh all wants Bondita to study and stand on her own feet and become a barrister. Anirudh has been helping Bondita in every way possible. Anirudh even went on dress as lady and entered Thaaku Maa's Haveli to save Bondita.

Meanwhile, Bondita has also been fighting all odds to win this struggle and make her way high so that she can stand on her own feets.

Anirudh and Bondita's story will now take a leap where Bondita will be shown grown up. After the leap Bondita will be shown rising high in her studies and fulfils her dream of becoming a barrister.

There has been many speculations from many month that who will replace the little Bondita in Barrister Babu. But Now it's confirmed that Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega fame Kanika Mann is going to play the role of grown-up Bondita. As per the latest report from the Times of India, "Kanika will start shooting in the coming two to three days. Initially it is going to be a promo shoot," said a source close to the development. Many actresses auditioned for the role of Bondita and eventually Kanika was finalised. "Actress Reem Sheikh too was being considered for the role too but the actress had apprehensions entering an on-going show. She was more keen to be a part of the new show from the Shashi Sumeet's Productions. Interestingly, Ashnoor Kaur was also one of the choices for the role but she couldn't be a part of the project because of her board examinations," revealed the source.

Kanika will be seen playing Big Bondita's role.

The source also added, "The leap in the show was supposed to happen early this year. However, because of the second wave of COVID-19, it was put on hold and the makers, Shashi and Sumeet Mittal, continued to shoot with the present cast, Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni and Pravisht Mishra, who play Bondita and Anirudh in the show.

The leap is scheduled to take place after a few weeks. "The makers are waiting for restrictions to be lifted in Maharashtra

to start the shoot with the actors post the leap. The shooting with the new cast might happen in June last week or July first week," shared the source.

When contacted the producers remained unavailable. The show recently had a new track, where Sadiya Siddiqui was brought in to play Thakuma, a strong-willed woman who has suffered a lot in life.
