Actress Anchal Sahu is all set to play grown-up Bondita in Barrister Babu.
Here, putting all speculations to an end, we now learned from a credible source (TOI) that actress Anchal Shau has been finalised by makers of the show and she is roped in to play the grown-up Bondita in Barrister Babu.
The 16 Years old actor will be replacing Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni who currently plays Bondita's role. Shashi Sumeet Production has been auditioning for Bondita's role for a while now. Earlier there were reports that Kanika Mann might play Bondita's role but she said no to show and went ahead with an OTT project.
According to latest updates from the prominent news agency, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye actor shared, "Coincidentally I am working for the same production house on another show on a different channel. I was informed by the makers that auditions for the show Barrister Babu are taking place but I wasn't aware that the show is taking a leap. After four-five days I was called in for the second round of auditions for the role of Bondita and then I went for a mock shoot and on Thursday I got to know that I have been finalised for the role."
She further added when asked about auditioning "After I was finalised for the role, I realised that a lot of names were there to play the grown up Bondita. Before that I was not keeping a track of the news related to the show and the leap," she shared to the news agency.
When she asked, if she is ready for comparisons with child artiste Aura Bhatnagar Badoni, who plays Bondita, and she said, "I know comparisons are going to happen and I am ready for online trolls also, but I just hope people don't cross their line while comparing me or trolling me online. I am fine if the comparisons happen, but I just hope that my family is never dragged into any kind of trolling."
Anchal Sahu who is just 16 years old she is all waiting for her vaccination so that she can shoot tension free. She said "I am not yet eligible for vaccination and I am scared of this pandemic. So as of now, though I will be shooting for two shows, both in the bio bubble format, I will be taking care of myself on my own. I am also eating all the right food to boost my immunity and also taking all the necessary precautions," She opened up.
The actress will be seen romancing with leading male actor Pravisht Mishra, who plays the role of Anirudh. Hopefully, love sequences might be on cards for their characters.
Anchal Sahu has appeared in many shows like Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, Begusarai, Lajwanti, and Meri Durga etc. The Shashi Sumeet Production has roped in the actor to portray the role of Bondita, she will be working on both shows of the same production house.

Earlier, there were also reports about Adaa Khan being approached for the show, but all these were just rumours. Nothing concrete come up. Finally, Anchal Sahu has been roped in to play Bondita's role.
Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni who is currently seen portraying Bondita's is completely doing justice to the role, and has a large number of fan following in India & across the world. Barrister Babu Fans are definitely going to miss her on the show. She has been the face of Bondita and basically the show is sometimes referred as "Bondita's Show." Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni's performance & dialogue delivery is widely praised by audiences and fans love watching her onscreen & also her chemistry with leading actor Pravisht Mishra. This pair Anirudh Bondita or "Anidita" well accepted. Well, this seems difficult for other actress to get into the shoe of Bondita but we feel Anchal Sahu will surely nail as Bondita.
